Le Trèfle Noir artisanal brewery opened its doors on July 1, 2009 and was the first artisanal brewery in Abitibi-Témiscamingue to have a tasting room within the establishment. The first year of operation painted a very encouraging picture for the two young entrepreneurs by producing twice as much beer as planned.
